Michelino Bisceglia composed the music for the opening ceremony of the Special Olympic Summer Games Antwerp. He also conducted the orchestra during this opening ceremony at Paleis 12 in Brussels. For this ceremony Michelino Bisceglia colleborated with the all-girl indie-rock choir Scala. The ceremony was broadcasted on television.

In 2012 Michelino Bisceglia was contacted by Niceberg Studios to compose the soundtrack for a 3D/4D action ride film. The attraction provides the audience with a 360° visual and audio experience. The soundtrack was recorded with a 73-piece orchestra in the Galaxy Studios, and it was the first recording ever in Auro 3D Audio (13.1).

In July 2010, Alice Events organised a spectacular ceremony at the occasion of Belgian's Chairmanship of the European Union. The show staged in front of the European Parliament in Brussels.

A Journey of Air was a show created by DDMC to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Daikin Europe (cooling & heating systems). It was performed twice in October 2008 in Ostend, Belgium. Michel Bisceglia was the music director of these shows, for which he collaborated with Marie Daulne (Zap Mama), Jasper Steverlinck (Arid), Anne Cambier (Soprano).

The Symhonic Alternative was a live concert at Forest National (Brussels) for which pop musiscians (Ozark Henry, Novastar, Starflam, K’s Choice) performed their music with the support of an orchestra conducted by Michelino Bisceglia. 'Mademoiselle Madame' was the official ceremony to celebrate 175 years of Belgium and 25 years of federalism. A huge barge crossed the city centre of Brussels, across a human sea of 75.000 attendees. The boat was filled with artists and spectacular surprises that appeared progressively as the show moved on. The show was attended by the Royal Family, representatives of the different governments and was broadcast live on television. Michelino Bisceglia was the music director of this ceremony.

SYMFOLLIES IN CONCERT - Live Concert in Japan (2004)

Symfollies is an educational animated series about a magic world, in which the inhabitants are living musical instruments of a musical orchestra. In each of the 52 episodes children are introduced to a classical composition. Michelino Bisceglia created the arrangements of the classical compositions and conducted the orchestra during the recordings.

Symfollies was first launched in Belgium on one of the public broadcaster’s television channels. By now it has already been broadcasted in more than 100 countries.

The success of the animated series also resulted in a number of international live concerts, for which Michelino Bisceglia conducted orchestras such as the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, the Japan Synfonia Orchestra and Orquestra Nacional do Porto.

BELGIAN COMIC STRIP FESTIVAL - Live Concert (2010 & 2011)

Comic books have always been very popular in Belgium. In 2010 & 2011 the city of Brussels organised a Comic Strip Festival. During this festival they also organised the ‘Comic Nights’ in Place Royale: a sound-and-light show with live music. Michelino Bisceglia composed the music that was performed at these Comic Nights.

Katoen Natie is an international logistics service provider and port operator. The Belgian company is present in 28 countries in five continents and employs about 9300 people worldwide. For the company’s 150th anniversary Michelino Bisceglia composed music for a musical about the history of Katoen Natie. 11.000 guests were invited to celebrate this anniversary.
